As of 15th June 2021, the Dutch government has introduced new entry requirements for passengers departing the UK and transferring through or entering the Netherlands. To travel back to the UK, you will need to comply with the most updated entry requirements from the UK Government. Please check the relevant information to return to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, as the requirements may differ. Failure to show a passenger locator form and negative Covid-19 test is a criminal offence and you may be fined. Furthermore, when quarantine in a hotel is required upon your return to the UK, you will need to show proof of hotel booking to the border force. As of 1 October 2021, EU/EAA/Swiss ID cards will no longer be accepted to travel into the UK and customers will require a passport unless the exceptions listed by the UK Government apply.

The rules for international travel have changed with a single red list of countries and simplified travel measures for arrivals from the rest of the world. Test requirements would vary whether you are fully vaccinated or not. Before booking your tests, check Traveldoc for the specific requirements to travel out of the UK, to your destination of choice and for your return to the UK. When travelling abroad you need to book and pay for a test privately.
